Because I am not able to personally visit each of you, I am taking this opportunity to share with you recent events at Bridge of Hope Church.
I hope and pray that in doing so each of you will sense God’s leading as we walk in His grace. On November 30, 2016 the Church conference and Board of Directors unanimously decided to move forward with the expansion of our church property which will address our children’s ministries and adult discipleship space needs.
I believe, as I hope you do, that the ministries of our church are a blessing to both our church body and families outside our congregation. In 2016 alone our ministries gave clothes to homeless shelters, book bags to over 400 families, welcomed hundreds more through our Easter Extravaganza, Trunk or Treat night, marriage retreat weekends, youth conferences, women’s retreats and more. God is blessing us as our commitment to the Great Commission deepens. With our strategic commitment to MAKE, MATURE and MULTIPLY disciples comes a challenge. Since our current monthly income must be used for our operating budget, we must now focus on a solution to maintain the positive mission and ministry of Bridge of Hope Church.
Bridge to A Better Tomorrow is the name chosen for our stewardship campaign. We believe that with God’s guidance, this ministry will fulfill the financial needs of our church. As part of our Bridge to A Better Tomorrow program, every household is asked to prayerfully consider making a sacrificial commitment—over and above your ongoing tithes and offerings—to be given over the next three years. We hope to raise the necessary funds in order to move forward in our ministry. As you can see, Bridge to A Better Tomorrow is an important step to our future, and your involvement impacts its success.
These are exciting days of decision and ministry in our church. Let us commit to seek and act in God’s will. To the glory of God, we will move ahead with faith.
In His Name,
